A Message From DJ XTA-C...

The DJ XTA-C Canned Food & Coat Drive is an annual effort to help those in need. Since 1990, I have fed the homeless and sustained an outreach program that touches lives. Most of you know me as DJ XTA-C... DJ ~ Promoter ~ Special Events Director and so forth. More than any event that I host, this program is THE MOST IMPORTANT matter to me each year. It is bigger than Friday Night Live! It means more to me than Wicked Wednesdays. In my 18 years of hitting the streets in an effort to help those in need, I hope to make this year's effort the biggest yet. This is why I call on you to help.

I ask that you take a moment to check out your closet, rummage through your coats and ask a friend or family member to contribute to this program. What we need is warm coats, hats, gloves & scarves. Sizes do not matter, but people do. And The DJ XTA-C DJ Dream Team cares about people. Also, we ask that you grab a can of food from your kitchen cabinet, pantry or even from the grocery store. If you can donate a coat... great. Maybe a can of food or several cans of food? Whatever you can do, would be a great help. We care about survival. Some of the basic needs that we enjoy everyday, some people do not have. There are kids with no home and parents that cannot feed their children. Let's take a moment to offer help! Your donation will go directly to those in need. If you prefer, you can write a check or donate cash. With each contribution, we purchase more items, for those in need. 100% of the money, food and clothing donated goes directly to the homeless. Further, this is not a publicity opportunity or an opportunity to look good in the community... this is real life. DJ XTA-C and his crew personally deliver the food & coats one on one to the homeless and those in need. We brighten lives, make friends and shake the hands of strangers... in hopes of making a difference.

So please consider donating food & clothing for this worthwhile program... It would mean a great to me personally. It may also mean that just one more person does not go hungry and perhaps a family can spend a night together in warmth.
